An action against police brutality took place in Moscow. Four banners appeared on the facade of one of the residential buildings near the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. They read: “Nurgaliyeva resign”, “Stop killing people”, “Freedom for political prisoners”, “Enough of contract cases”.
This action was carried out by the organization “Nation of Freedom,” Kasparov.Ru reports. According to the organization’s press secretary, Daria Yakovleva, it was under the current head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Rashid Nurgaliev, that a “monstrous” number of crimes occurred, and the police began political investigation.
Police officers removed the posted slogans less than half an hour after they appeared. But none of the activists were detained.
