Weather and health

In the coming days, the weather in most of European Russia will be subject to the Mediterranean cyclone, which will move to Belarus on Monday, and by Tuesday will move to the north-west of the EPR. In the regions of the north-west it will snow, in a significant part of the territory there will be heavy snow, in places there will be a blizzard, and the situation on the roads will be difficult.

In the Central region there will be precipitation in the form of snow and sleet, in places a blizzard, the accumulation of sleet, ice, ice and snow drifts on the roads, in places wind gusts of up to 15--20 m/s, in the daytime +1...-5оС.

In the capital at night it is cloudy, snowing, heavy in places, blizzard, conditions for icy conditions, snowfall, drifts on the roads, minimum temperature -6...-8oC, in the region -5...-10oC. During the day, snow, sleet, ice in places, conditions for icy conditions, snowfall, snow accumulation, maximum temperature 0...-2оС, in the region -4...+1оС, wind south-east, south, 5--10 m/s, gusts of 15--20 m/s in places.

In St. Petersburg there is light snow at night, heavy snow in the morning and during the day, snowstorms in places, temperatures at night -6...-8oC, during the day -3...-5oC.

In most of the European territory of Russia, due to fluctuations in basic meteorological parameters, the well-being of weather-dependent people may worsen. First of all, people suffering from cardiovascular diseases, such as angina pectoris, hypertension, vegetative-vascular dystonia, cerebral atherosclerosis, or those who have had a heart attack or stroke, will respond to weather changes. Gusty winds can cause exacerbation of nervous and mental illnesses. An additional burden will be the unstable geomagnetic background.
