"In those subjects of the Russian Federation, where Muslims are the majority of the population, primarily in Dagestan, Chechnya and Ingushetia, they completely calmly put Islamic symbols in prominent places, and this does not cause any irritation among Orthodox Christians. So why are the Orthodox Adygea that make up the vast majority of the population of this republic do not have the right to establish font!" - The circulation says.
“It is well known,” said the representatives of which direction in Islam are experiencing pathological hatred of crosses. Unfortunately, this is not the first case of the fight against crosses - in Russia, Nizhny Novgorod and Saratov Wahhabits actively opposed their attitude, and in the last decade the destruction of crosses took on a massive character. ”
The appeal recalls that in 2005, under the pressure of nationalists, the Maikop authorities several times canceled the installation of the monument to Nicholas the Wonderworker, and in 2009 the unknown were cut off and threw a worship cross on Mount Fisht into the abyss and bent a similar cross at the entrance to Maykop.
"It is very dangerous to indulge aggressive nationalists, and if the Adygea authorities will not force them to the world as soon as possible, then interethnic and inter -religious consent in the republic will be destroyed," the appeal emphasizes.
