Within one day in Dagestan, two high -profile political killings occurred at once. These terrorist attacks are a continuation of the wave of high -profile murders, which swept through Dagestan in 2009, when the head of the Untsukulsky district of the Republic, Kazimbek Akhmedov, the former head of the Botlikh district, Magomed Sahramedlaev, died at the hands of terrorists. Finally, the most loud was the murder of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Adilgerey Magomedtagirov, who was shot in Makhachkala on June 5, 2009. The new murders of high officers of law enforcement agencies of the republic are connected, as observers believe, with the struggle of power clans. On February 20, the term of powers of the current president of Dagestan Mukhu Aliyev expires, and he will not be reassigned, as insiders say in the Kremlin.
