This is not the first case in Tomsk when people die at the hands of police officers. Two years ago, an employee of the Tomsk OEP during interrogation killed the entrepreneur Igor Vakhnenko, threw his body out of the window of the fourth floor, and buried in the forest.

The death of the entrepreneur was a shock. The policeman was condemned to 24 years in a maximum security prison. The head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Tomsk Region remained at his post.

And here is a new crime committed by a policeman. Brutal. After all, the policeman mocked a defenseless person. Here they already spoke about the system. Major General of the Police of the Grechman was again asked - did he intend to resign after what happened? The general was not going to leave voluntarily, saying that: “One person cannot bear responsibility for the crowd team” ... Then, who is responsible for him? .. Minister? President? Who should I ask?

“The fish does not rot from the head in this case. This is not the case, ”said Viktor Grechman, commenting on the murder of a journalist. “If you want me to declare in open text that I am resigning, then you will not wait for this ...” - said the general. The next day, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia temporarily removed him from his post. And later, the president fired by his decree.

Victor Grechman worked in the internal affairs bodies for 39 years. Less than a year later, his contract ended, and he had to retire with all the honors. But it did not happen. The general was fired before. Many who worked for many years with the Grechman said that they were sorry for him humanly. And that his dismissal of police will not solve. Just as his voluntary resignation would not have decided anything.
