The Government of the Russian Federation awarded the prize 30 young scientists

The Government of the Russian Federation awarded 30 young scientists in the field of science and technology for 2009, RIA Novosti writes. This was announced on Wednesday by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

“First of all, I would like to say that the Russian government decided to award a prize by young scientists in the field of science and technology in 2009. It was awarded to 30 young researchers who are successfully involved in promising and demanded developments in priority areas,” Putin said, opening a meeting of the Government Commission on High Technologies and Innovation.

Among the areas in which scientists have awarded prizes are the diagnosis of cancer, the introduction of resource and energy -saving plasma technologies, the development of nanostructures for electronic equipment, Putin noted. The prime minister congratulated the laureates and wished them further success.

According to him, the amount of each bonus is 500 thousand rubles, the age of applicants should be no more than 33 years, and copyright groups for each bonus should consist of no more than five people.
