In January of this year, Microsoft with the equally poorly hidden pride announced that outstanding sales of Windows 7 led to the receipt in the second quarter of the financial year of record revenue and profit. As of December 31 last year, that is, in less than 3 months, the company managed to implement 60 million licenses for a new operating system.

However, large companies for the most part remain on Windows XP, and they are in no hurry to switch to a new system, a good example of what is a long -standing partner of Microsoft, Intel corporation.
