Gennady Shlyakhov : To perform this music, which became classic and once played by the legends of rock is a risky occupation. The Terra Group about all this, most likely did not think, but simply went on stage and played what was dear to each of the participants in the team. They gathered together to food the classics and hits of rock music of the second half of the 20th century. Says the leader of the group, vocalist Igor Yatskov.

Igor Yatskov : Musicians, most likely, are people such that it is difficult to ask a question, why do you need it, you go and it is most difficult to restrain this feeling in yourself, it is the desire to play music, or write paintings or play in the theater. This is that we do not force ourselves to do. This is that it is not difficult and that which is never a burden. Although we do it for free and spend our free time on this, but the pleasure that we experience from this is probably incomparable so far with nothing.

Gennady Shlyakhov : One pleasure is not enough, says Dmitry Klyanishvili, a drummer from the Terra group. There will be no responsive listener, or we will be unconvincing - we will have to cover the tools.

Dmitry Kolorianishvili : We hope that people, listening to this music, will enjoy not only from music itself, but will also be immersed in the world of the 70s, 60s, when a lot of people in the then USSR went and sang some things from Pink Floyd, Roling Stones. We try to give the listener, dip it into the world of blues and rock and roll, which we lived with our hearts.

Gennady Shlyakhov : The Terra group appeared recently and this, in itself, became an event for Sochi. The rock music will not find its place in the resort. Youth groups, decaying and reuniting in new compositions, still live in basements, exist for a narrow circle of friends-articulated and their fans in one person. And then the musicians appeared, not among the young people who immediately swung at the concert halls and spectators of various ages and musical preferences.

Igor Yatskov : We play this, because this music is now very difficult to hear somewhere in a living performance, it is almost impossible. We went along this path.

Gennady Shlyakhov : And not be afraid that they will compare with Beatles, Deep Purple, I ask Igor Yatskov.

Igor Yatskov : Of course, we are doing now, I call it craftsmen. Just rewriting other people's paintings, replaying someone else's music is a craft. I think that the pinnacle of creativity is when people play their music, and sell their paintings, and sell the books that they wrote personally. This is the highest stage for me in life, the stage in creativity. I think we will definitely approach this.

Gennady Shlyakhov : Dmitry Klyanishvili, a drummer from the Terra group, on the contrary, moved away from writing. He began a musical career with experiments, looking for a special way in modern music, trying himself in different genres. The search time remains in the past.

Dmitry Klyanishvili : Everything returns to the origins. Now the Terra group is a community of people who have had an interest in playing and getting pleasure at the same time, exactly the music from which we came out as musicians.

Gennady Shlyakhov : At a concert in which the Sochi listener could first get acquainted with the Terra group, the hall was filled with experts and amateurs of rock music, schoolchildren and pensioners.

- I really liked it. Musically interesting and fun. Stopped legs and arms.

- I came from St. Petersburg, I was very surprised that there are such performers in Sochi.

- This is the first time at this concert. These musicians shocked me.

- I also for the first time. He takes the soul. The guys are very positive.

Gennady Shlyakhov : The Terra group is six musicians. Each of them has its own work and its own path in music. Igor Yatskov, for example, graduated from the Gnesins musical and pedagogical institution in Moscow (now it is the Academy of Music). Having received a higher education, he began and continues to work in restaurants and clubs, like his other colleagues-musicians, graduates of conservatories and institutions of the Soviet era. Igor Yatskov does not regret the fact that this is exactly the case, and not otherwise, Igor Yatskov did not regret it. As a vocalist and keyboard player, he visited many countries. He feels like a free and independent person, values the name of the musician.

Igor Yatskov : I believe that there should be professionals in any business. We must start with this. When we go to the dentist, we want it to be a very good dentist. Unfortunately, a lot appeared in music, I call them - ketants and kettants - let them forgive me, but this is so. Therefore, the quality of performance falls, therefore the quality of the arrangements, the writing of the music of its composition. Therefore, I would very much like professionals to come to music. I believe that it is absolutely correct that in rock music, people who have a musical proper education come to pop music.

Gennady Shlyakhov : Professionals in everything regarding music, they do not want to look like people torn from life. Following moral satisfaction from the music performed, they are waiting for material dividends, although they perfectly understand that rock culture and Sochi are two inconvenient things. In the Black Sea resort, other music sounded and sounds. It’s good that at least sometimes other sounds break through it. Let it not be for a long time, but it's so nice!
