On March 4, during a special operation in the Ingush village of Ekazhevo, the FSB special forces was liquidated by one of the ideologists of the Caucasian militants, Alexander Tikhomirov, known as Said Buryat. The militant gained wide fame after the terrorist attack near the building of the Military Military District Nazran, who carried away the lives of 25 people. The media also appeared versions about his possible involvement in the undermining of the Nevsky Express in November 2009. Anonymous sources in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB are reported about the liquidation of Said Buryatsky, this information has not yet been confirmed yet. Once Buryat was already “dying”, but after a while a video with his video message appeared on the Internet. Did Buryatian die this time? The security forces report that 6 militants were liquidated following the results of the operation in Ekazhevo, and 16 people suspected of aiding terrorists were detained. At the end of the operation on the body of one of the dead, two passports were discovered in the name of Alexander Tikhomirov. There are no other evidence of the destruction of Said Buryatsky yet, it is not possible to identify the body: “The corpse of a fighter with a heavily deformed head was discovered, or rather, with its practical absence,” said a source in ITAR-TASS law enforcement agencies. Four years ago, in July 2006, here, in Ekazhevo, Shamil Basayev was killed. Until this moment, the security forces repeatedly reported his destruction, but each time the deceased miraculously resurrected. It was repeatedly reported on successful operations against Aslan Maskhadov, Ruslan Gelaev, Doku Umarova (the latter is still alive). So if in the near future a new video message from Said Buryatsky appears, this is unlikely to be a surprise for both his supporters and security forces.
