There were two such appearances among our unfortunate pre-perestroika intelligentsia. The poor Soviet authorities, whom a professional of anti-Sovietism could always confuse and deceive, really decided that he was harmless. But it turned out that Grigory Gorin was hiding a very pessimistic comedy under the skirt.

In the building of the seemingly harmless Lenkom, allegedly a Komsomol theater, the headquarters of the commander, dragon hunter Mark Anatolyevich Zakharov, who turned gray in battles, was hidden for 30 years. This was the first slap in the face to the Dragon.

“The same Munchausen” managed to be dragged in 1979 right into the cinema, onto the television screen. Gorin plus Zakharov were taught every morning from 9.00 to 10.00 to perform feats, live the dream and die for the dream.

In 1983, together with Swift, Gorin built a house where neither Yehu nor deputies like Abeltsev were supposed to enter.

And before that, in 1980, together with Eldar Ryazanov, in the film “Say a Word About the Poor Hussar”, the screenwriter spits in the face of the special services in the person of Merzlyaev-Merzyaev and claims: to be a traitor to the Tsar and the Fatherland in the USSR is a feat and a duty. Grigory Gorin rushes to power quite consciously: in the Kremlin, the heads of the Dragon are yelling and ruined, his iron heart is beating in the Lubyanka. The film Gorin and Zakharov "Kill the Dragon" (1988) based on the play by Yevgeny Schwartz became the banner of perestroika. With the help of Grigory Gorin and Vladimir Voinovich (1989), in the play "A Domestic Cat of Medium Fluffiness" the country said goodbye to the CPSU and its privileges; in Lenkom's Memorial Prayer, Gorin and Zakharov sang and lamented the messianism and doom of the Jewish people (1989); in the “Royal Games” of Lenkom (1995), Gorin pronounced a verdict of absolute power, and already at the very end of the journey in “Jester Balakirev” (1999), the commissioner of Lenkom imposed sanctions against the “reformer from above” Peter I.

On June 15, 2000, the dragon slayer's heart could not bear the final catastrophe. The people voluntarily chose the Dragon, which neither Naiad, nor Dryad, nor even Evgeny Schwartz foresaw.
