In general, over the past three years, the number of paintings shot by American film companies has declined. In 2009, the number of US production films fell 12 percent to 558 tapes against 633 a year earlier. The main reasons for such a decline in MPAA was named the World Economic Crisis and the 14-week strike of Hollywood screenwriters, which happened two years ago.
