
The Swedish company Saab has begun to create the most compact family model based on the Aerox concept, which will compete in the market with popular British compacts of the Mini Cooper.
Judging by the images of the concept, the style of the new Saab will be similar to the Mini model, especially in the part of the front optics. According to the British publication of Auto Express, the new head of the SAAB, the head of the company Spyker, Viktor Muller, the car in the future will replace the current generation of the Saab 9-2 model on the conveyor.
Currently, the Swedish brand belongs to the Dutch manufacturer of sportsmen - Spyker. As already reported, in February 2010, Spyker purchased a loss -making SAAB from the American concern General Motors, paying $ 74 million with living money and about $ 326 million in the form of a privileged shares of the new SPYKER CARS NV holding in the current year Saab hopes to sell 53 thousand cars around the world.
