The automobile disposal program that started on March 8 in Russia caused a shortage of the so -called “VAZ classics” - the VAZ -2105 and 2107 models. The “five” in some salons ended almost instantly, after which people began to switch to the “seven” - these are the cheapest cars in the AvtoVAZ line, and thanks to recycling certificates for 50 thousand rubles, their price became below almost a third: without discounts The cost of LADA 2105 - from 163.5 thousand rubles, LADA 2107 - from 176.3 thousand rubles.
Other AvtoVAZ models under the recycling program are sold much less actively, the worst of all - Priora, which is practically no applications, told Vedomosti the commercial director of Avtogermes Alexander Chulkov. According to him, Lada 2105 at a special price of 99 thousand rubles diverged in a couple of days, now dealers are trying to switch the attention of buyers to other models, the demand for which is not so great, for example to Samara and Kalina, the general director of the Togliatti "Avtotrady" Vladimir Yarkin.
Prior to the start of the Classic recycling program, I did not use special success, the stocks of non -distributed cars were replenished mainly at the expense of these machines, says Sergey Tselikov, deputy general director of Autostat.
Last year, according to the European Business Association, the most popular model was Priora, AvtoVAZ sold 99,473 such cars, “classics” sold only 67,216 cars. At the beginning of this year, Priora retained leadership: in January - February, 11,888 of these cars were sold, and the “classic” lost in popularity not only AvtoVAZ models, but also Renault Logan and Ford Focus: only 5109 Lada 2105/2107 were sold in two months. The deferred demand was affected: poorly, hearing about the disposal program, decided to wait with the purchase until March, now this demand is being implemented, Velikov explains.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade , on Monday 19.30, from March 8, 28,234 recycling certificates of 200 thousand were issued, which is supposed to be issued before November 1 of this year. The unconditional leader is AvtoVAZ: about 70%, or 20 thousand certificates, was issued for the purchase of LADA, says a representative of the ministry.
In fact, there are much less sold cars: at the end of the last week, about 25 thousand LADA were sold, but of them, according to the recycling program, only 5 thousand.
"Classic" really beats records: 50-60% of those wishing to buy Lada made their choice in favor of these machines. The salons are already formed in the “classics”, after registering all the documents, people have to wait for about 10 days of receiving the car, and customers who want to buy “classics” for cash without the disposal program sometimes refuse. AvtoVAZ promised dealers to help solve the problem and has already begun to ship additional machines.
AvtoVAZ did not expect that the surge of demand for the "classics" would be so strong, the director of the external relations of AvtoVAZ Igor Burenkov admits. But the company is not going to urgently change production plans: the plan for April has already been approved, next month the car factory is going to release 40.3 thousand LADA, 5.5% more than in March. How many of them will have to be “classic”, Burenkov does not say, but notes that, taking into account increased demand for these models, a production plan will be drawn up for May of this year and for the next months.
An experiment to issue a voucher in the amount of 50 thousand rubles for the purchase of a new domestic assembly car in return for the car, the car former will last until November 1, 2010. In the list of cars that can be purchased according to the program, 66 models. The passenger car handed up for recycling should be over 10 years old and registered with the last owner of at least 1 year. 11 billion rubles were forced to implement the recycling program in the budget of the Russian Federation.
