“The eldest son” by A. Vampilov. Directed by Konstantin Bogomolov. Starring Yuri Chursin, Sergei Sosnovsky, Evgeniy Miller, Andrey Fomin, Yana Sexte. Vampilov wrote “The Eldest Son” in 1967; Bogomolov staged it in the winter of 2008. With the knowledge that Vampilov did not have: after spring there will be no summer. “Players” by N. Gogol. Directed by Sergei Zhenovach. Starring Sergey Abroskin, Alexey Vertkov, Sergey Kachanov, Alexander Lutoshkin, Maxim Lyutikov, Alexander Oblasov, Sergey Pirnyak, Grigory Sluzhitel, Andrey Shibarshin. “Family Happiness” by L. Tolstoy. Directed by Pyotr Fomenko. Starring Ksenia Kutepova, Alexey Kolubkov, Galina Tyunina, Ilya Lyubimov, Kirill Pirogov. In the early story of L.N. Tolstoy (1859) the love story of Masha and Sergei Mikhailovich, an endless series of changes in “family happiness” are spoken out in the heroine’s lengthy monologues. In the play, scenes of home tea drinking, playing music at the piano, “quiet happiness” between the piano and the window are like musical variations, filled with light, sadness, hope and hopelessness. “Workshop of Pyotr Fomenko”, New Stage , 19.00.

“How I spent this summer” (Russia, 2010). Directed by Alexey Popogrebsky. Starring Sergei Puskepalis, Grigory Dobrygin. The head of the polar station Sergei and the young trainee Pavel are alone at a weather station in the Arctic Ocean. Their watch is coming to an end. The only channel of communication with the world is unstable radio communication with the central base. In Sergei's absence, a message arrives that Pavel simply does not know what to do with. He hopes that a ship will soon come for them and then everything will be resolved by itself... "Class" (Estonia, 2007). Directed by Ilmar Raag. Starring Vallo Keers, Parth Uusberg, Lauri Pedaya, Paula Solvak, Mikk Magee, Riina Rees, Jonas Paas. Josef endures all the humiliation that his classmates subject him to. But humility only provokes the offenders - insults and bullying become more and more cruel. When the line is crossed, the former outcast decides to take revenge. Those who felt strong by humiliating the weak will be forced to pay severely... The most famous Estonian film of the post-Soviet period, which went to many festivals and won prizes in Karlovy Vary and Warsaw. “1812 in the paintings of V.V. Vereshchagin. Gift of Emperor Nicholas II to the Museum of 1812.” A series of paintings dedicated to the War of 1812, in which the artist sought to recreate the “simplicity and truth” of history. The paintings are exhibited, as Vereshchagin intended, under special lighting, music and noise accompaniment, with literary texts by the artist himself. Historical Museum , until May 10.
"The whole world is a theater..." From the collection of M.F. Larionova. The exhibition, which brings together about 350 exhibits, will cover a wide range of topics (theater, dance, history of costume, sports, circus) and will show works of the 17th - mid-20th centuries from both Russian and European schools, as well as Eastern countries.
