Assistant President Dvorkovich: People are ready to increase the retirement age

Presidential Assistant Arkady Dvorkovich announced the need to change social policy. Speaking at the International Conference, he said that “do not deceive themselves that people are not ready to increase the retirement age,” reports Echo of Moscow .

According to Dvorkovich, "it is necessary to focus on increasing the duration of quality life - when at 60 or 70 years a person is not a burden to society, but a creator."

In turn, categorically against the proposal to increase the age of retirement, the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor and Social Policy Andrei Isaev. The deputy considers all the conversations on this subject with the current average life expectancy unacceptable.

To increase the retirement age, there are neither economic nor social grounds, ”the ex -Minister of Labor and Social Development, State Duma deputy Oksana Dmitrieva believes. In an interview with the Echo of Moscow radio station, she recalled that on average Russians have been retired for about ten years, while the accumulated pension capital is calculated for 19 years. Dmitrieva also noted that the Russian pensioner retires 4 average annual salaries, which is the lowest in the world.

According to demographers, by 2020, one thousand workers will have 837 dependents.
