Siberian Federal University Internet Center disbanded in Krasnoyarsk Territory

The Internet Center of the Siberian Federal University has been completely disbanded. The structural unit is being liquidated in order to eliminate the duplication of its functions by the launched electronic library of the Siberian Federal University and to prevent misappropriation of federal funds.

According to the press service of the university, the structural unit is being liquidated due to the fact that its functions are completely duplicated by the recently launched electronic library.

“In order to eliminate duplication and prevent misappropriation of federal funds, the Internet Center as a division was disbanded, employees were notified in accordance with labor legislation,” the message says.

The amount of estimated savings due to the reduction is not specified. Currently, the possibility of employment of laid-off employees in other SibFU subdivisions in a similar profile is being considered. Reductions in the staff list of the teaching staff are not expected.
