Nina Kislova is only 24 years old, and she already has two children: son Rostik and daughter Lada. Toddlers - the weather, the boy is two years old, the girl is three. Rostik and Lada live in Kislovodsk with their mother and father, but they often have to come to Moscow. The brother and sister are seriously ill, they need to be treated and check their health, and this can only be done in Moscow - at the Cancer Center. N.N. Blokhin on Kashirskoye Highway. Both Lada and Rostik have retinoblastoma, a malignant tumor of the retina. Both children completed a full course of radiation and chemotherapy and now regularly come to Moscow for follow-up examinations.
Imagine how hard it is for Nina to travel to Moscow by train alone with two half-blind babies, especially since the free ticket that they are legally entitled to sometimes has to be knocked out with a fight. Needless to say, Nina does not work: where with such kids! She and her husband graduated from a medical school in Kislovodsk, her husband now works as a massage therapist for 6,000 rubles a month. This money, even with children's disability pensions, is not enough for anything. Kids need warm clothes and shoes, diapers, care products, they need to eat well. It is equally important to follow all the doctor's prescriptions, arrive in Moscow for examinations on time, and buy the necessary medicines.
Retinoblastoma responds well to treatment, but because of the tumor, patients tend to lose their sight. While Lada and Rostik see, but very badly, nevertheless, their mother wants the children to develop, learn and grow, keeping up with their peers. Nina is also very worried about the fact that she cannot find training centers, toys and teaching aids for the development of visually impaired children in Kislovodsk. She also needs our help with this. We will be grateful to all kind people who will help Nina and her children: not only with money, but also with educational aids, games and toys, computer programs for visually impaired children, and even just good advice.
