The beginning of the circus. Prosecutor Lakhtin gets up and starts mumbling on a piece of paper in non-Russian, getting confused in the approvals. “The opportunity was not taken,” “we did not see any action from you...”

It is impossible to understand the essence; the meaning gets stuck in tongue-tied language.

– Was it a statement or a petition? – the impassive judge Danilkin is interested.

Prosecutor Lakhtin does not know what it was.

They explain to him: if this was a motion, then the judge must allow the defense to speak out on this matter. Lakhtin, somewhat frightened and hastily:

- Statement!

He suffered enough from Klyuvgant, poor thing, they slammed his face on the table...

Then the original diploma of Mikhail Borisovich Khodorkovsky is handed over to the prosecutors - at the last meeting the prosecutors doubted his higher education. Now they are disgustedly looking at the crust that is inaccessible to them...
