The authorities do not need a people, and the people - such power

On June 12, 1990, at the First Congress of People's Deputies of the RSFSR, a declaration of sovereignty of Russia was adopted

So the country gained independence - it seemed, including independence from the past, associated with a comprehensive and inhuman state, suppressing everything and everything. 20 years have passed. And it seems that if anyone has gained independence, it is a state, its officials are from those who pay their lives with their taxes. Freedom from all responsibility to its people has become the leitmotif of recent years. The events of May 31 in Moscow and other cities once again confirmed this. Moreover, it was somehow very intrusively demonstrating that between the people and the authorities-the abyss. The authorities do not hear at all, does not understand, does not see what lives and how the people subordinate to it breathes . And the people are increasingly distinguishing both from this power and from this state. Some choose life outside: “It is not so much necessary to feel like people: just live separately from state power,” say those who go into squat, where you can pretend that there are simply no Putin-Medved-Nurgaliye, and this movement grows throughout the country. Others, on the contrary, believe that a radical protest is the only thing that remains for those who do not agree with the actions of officials. The authorities believe, they themselves created such rules of the game , others take over the performance of the functions of the state - they care about abandoned children , the fourth simply take their families from the country - at best, leaving business here, in the worst - translating them and them abroad.

Business emigration is a phenomenon gaining momentum . Who is to blame and what to do - those whom Russian history have determined to look for these traditional questions are trying to answer these traditional questions - the creative intelligentsia. And they answer as the musicians Shevchuk and Makarevich, writers Grishkovets and Arkhangelsk , polar opposite. 20 years - and there was no state either. And by and large there are no people either - there are millions of those who are trying to survive and make their choice.
