
The defendant in the case ofa fire in the Perm night club "Lame Horse" Sergey Derbenev, who supplied the equipment to the organizers of a fire show in a burned club, was released from a pre-trial detention center, the head of the GUFSIN in the region Stanislav Vololegov said on Tuesday.
The main investigative department of the SCP of the Russian Federation last week completed an investigation into a criminal case on the fact of a fire in the Perm cafe "Lame Horse". Recall that the fire in the club "Lame Horse" occurred on the night of December 5, 2009. As a result of the tragedy, 156 people died - most of them are in place, the rest died in hospitals. More than 100 people were injured.
"On June five, Sergei Derbenev was released due to the end of the detention of detention," Stanislav Vologov told RIA Novosti . Derbenev, director of Pyrotechnical Company Pirocet, is accused under Article 218 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the rules for using explosives, flammable substances and pyrotechnic products).
According to the UKP of the Russian Federation earlier, the cause of the fire was the fire of the foam, which was covered with the ceiling of the cafe hall, from the hot particle that fell into it, thrown out of the worked pyrotechnic device. According to the investigation, people died from carbon monoxide poisoning and combustion products. In total, more than 400 people were recognized as victims in a criminal case.
According to the representative of the UPC, eight people were prosecuted: co-founder of the Lame Horse cafe Anatoly Zach, Executive Director Svetlana Efremova, art director Oleg Fetkulov. He was charged with committing a crime under paragraph 3 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (the provision of services that do not meet the safety requirements of consumer life or health, which entailed the death of two or more persons through negligence).
The organizers of the pyrotechnic show Igor and Sergey Derbenev were charged with violating the rules for using explosive, flammable substances and pyrotechnic products (Article 218 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The former chief state inspector of the Perm Territory for fire supervision Vladimir Mukhutdinov is accused of abuse of authority Article 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (two episodes), inspectors of the Perm Territory Dmitry Roslyakov and Natalya Prokopyeva - in negligence (part 3 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
In addition, Konstantin Mrykhin is on the wanted list, in respect of which a preventive measure in the form of detention was selected in absentia. The case against him has been allocated to separate proceedings.
Earlier, the Perm district court extended the terms of detention until December 5, Zab, Fetkulov and Efremova. In addition, the son of Derbenev Igor, the head of the Perm State Medical School of Mukhutdinov and the inspector of his department of Roslyakov also remain in the pre -trial detention center.
