The day before, the results of the monitoring of the Ministry of Health and Social Development in the Russian labor market were published. According to the data obtained, the number of unemployed Russians continues to decline. During the week, which ended on June 2, 2010, officially registered unemployment amounted to 2 million 10 thousand 814 people, which is 1.72% less compared to the previous week. The most popular sales managers, qualified workers and engineers remain today. There was a chance for "unnecessary" before lawyers and marketers, they write "New Izvestia" .
A decrease in the number of unoccupied citizens was observed in 80 regions, but the growth of unemployment was recorded in three constituent entities of the Russian Federation: in the republics of Ingushetia, Mari El and in the Amur Region. In this case, we are talking about official unemployment, but the total, according to the early June, decreased to 6.1 million people. Meanwhile, the population in the country increased to 68.9 million citizens.
According to experts, since the beginning of May, the increase in vacancies has been noted in the labor market, and in various fields. But the number of resumes, on the contrary, was reduced. “This suggests that tension in the labor market is reduced, some people are working, others cease to actively look for work in connection with the summer season,” explained the head of the analytical direction of the Superjob.ru research center, the chief editor of the salary magazine Valery Chernetsova. “But the market itself demonstrates positive trends.”
It is worth noting that last summer, citizens continued to actively look for work, despite the seasonal factor. Then the crisis trends in the labor market were still quite strong. According to Chernetsova, today the most offers for sales managers, qualified workers and engineers are slightly behind them. In the twenty of the most popular specialties there are also accountants, drivers, sellers, trading representatives, unskilled workers, secretaries, doctors, regional and medical representatives. A little less vacancies for programmers and lawyers, as well as economists, procurement managers, teachers. The rating of the most popular professions is closed.
As the director of the Institute of Social Policy and Socio-Economic Programs, Sergei Smirnov, notes, today the labor market is still primarily focused on the consumer needs of the population.
