Specialists of the Taganrog Aviation and Technical Complex named after Beriev began work on a new exploratory aircraft, which should replace the A-50 Park. It is “developed on the basis of the platform similar to the A-50 (IL-76MD plane), since the new plane, known as“ Product 476 ”, is not yet ready,” the source in the defense and industrial complex told Interfax .

However, the first car will appear only in two years. At the moment, the development of documentation has been completed and production for construction is underway.

He also noted that the first experimental machine will be created on the basis of the IL-76MD, and everything else will be new. “The created plane will significantly surpass both A-50U modernized and the A-50EI complex, supplied to India,” the source promised.

According to the source, the upgraded A-50U aircraft "in fact, has become a stage in the path to creating a promising aviation complex." The modern A -50U modified complex ensures the detection of bombers at a range of 650 km, fighters - at a range of 300 km, ground targets such as columns of tanks - 250 km. The number of simultaneously accompanied goals is up to 300.

The A-50 aircraft is designed to detect and identify air objects, determine their coordinates and movement parameters, issuing information to command posts, guidance of interceptors and withdrawal of front-line aircraft to ground targets during their fighting at low altitudes.

Recall that in Russia other developments are also underway in the aviation area. The first Russian bomber of the fifth generation is being tested now. At the end of 2010 - early 2011, tests of three more T -50 aircraft are planned. Before serial production, the fighter must make about two thousand test flights. It is expected that his supplies to the troops will begin in 2015.

T-50 is a heavy-class fighter with a take-off weight of more than 30 tons, an average dimension (approximately corresponding to the Su-27 aircraft), which is a monoplane with widely spaced engines and two keel, strongly rejected out of the longitudinal axis. The fifth -generation plane is equipped with a fundamentally new Avionic complex, integrating the electronic pilot function, and a promising radar station with a phased antenna grate. The state is currently allocating considerable funds for the production of new unmanned aircraft, but so far the attempts to create something worthwhile have not been crowned with success.
