New Rostov Governor solemnly took office in a music theater

In the Rostov Musical Theater, a solemn ceremony of entering the post of new governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev was held. He took the oath to the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the charter of the region entrusted to him. As symbolic objects of power, he was awarded the official and standard of the governor, Interfax reports.

The ceremony was attended by several honored guests: the Governor of the Volgograd Region Anatoly Brovko, the Governor of the Moscow Region Boris Gromov, the President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov, a member of the Federation Council from the Rostov Region Leonid Tyagachev.

Vasily Golubev, who until recently, headed the Leninsky municipal district of the Moscow Region, replaced the governor Vladimir Chube, who held this position from October 1991 to June 2010. The candidacy of Golubev was nominated on May 15 for consideration by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

On May 21, the Legislative Assembly of the Rostov Region endowed the presidential candidate with the powers of the head of the regional administration. Of the 48 deputies those present during the vote, 43 approved the candidacy of Golubev, five voted against him. Voting, on the initiative of the United Russia faction, was open and was carried out using the electronic system.

The Legislative Assembly of the region of 50 deputies: 45 United Russia and five Communists. The United Russia faction intended to jointly support Golubev, and the Communists warned in advance that they would vote against.

Golubev was born on January 30, 1957 in the village of Ermakovskaya, Tatsinsky district of the Rostov region in a family of miners. In 1980 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Management. Ordzhonikidze with a degree in engineer-economist. By distribution, he was sent to the Moscow City Vidnoye.

He began his career at the Vidnovsky Cargo Automobile Automobile enterprise as a senior engineer, and then the head of the department of operation, from where he was nominated to the leading work in the party bodies. In 1991, Golubev was appointed, and in 1996 he was elected the head of the Leninsky district of the Moscow Region.

In April 1999, he was elected vice-governor of the Moscow region, since March 2000 he was the first deputy chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region.

In December 2003, Golubev was again elected the head of the Leninsky district. In the elections in March 2008, the inhabitants of this region elected it to the head of their municipality for the next term.
