Andrey Fursenko is pleased with how the exam

The Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Andrei Fursenko positively evaluates the examination campaign and believes that the USE procedure has become more transparent and clearer, RIA Novosti reports.

This year, according to Rosobrnadzor, more than 967 thousand people took part in the unified state examinations, of which over 837 thousand graduates of this year. The number of graduates who passed the exam decreased by 25 thousand in connection with demographic problems compared to the previous year.

“I think that the situation with the exam has seriously changed. The atmosphere this year is completely different, if compared with last year. As far as I know, there are already fewer violations. And most importantly, they are revealed. The system allows you to do this, while this was almost impossible in the system of traditional exams,” Fursenko said on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum.

The minister is confident that the USE system is amenable to improvement and in the future it will work more and more harmoniously. “Not a single reception campaign is without problems, as this is too sensitive the topic for a large number of people. I think that the situation will only improve further,” said Fursenko.

The first messages about violations during the delivery of Russian schools by graduates of Russian schools appeared during the reception at the school of the village of Morozovsk, the Rostov Region of the State Exploity in the Russian language. Teachers allegedly decided the exam for schoolchildren.

Later, a similar case occurred in the Volodarsky district of the Astrakhan region, where the teacher performed mathematics tasks for one of the students of his class. In the Voronezh region, a representative of the State Examination Commission, who for a “moderate fee” of 25 thousand rubles, offered graduates of the decisive options was detained during the surrender of the USE in mathematics.

Rosobrnadzor investigated each case and conducted inspections in the intruders. The head of the department Lyubov Glebov personally went to the Krasnodar Territory to understand violations.
