Question: “An organization appeared that began to solve problems with the police through violence and murder. Can this be justified?"
Answer: Zakhar Prilepin, writer:
“In Russia, in fact, everything is favorable for bursts of aggression and alienation from the state to take place”
“You know, I am in a double position and have already refused public speaking on this topic several times.
With one of those who committed suicide in that apartment, we have a large number of mutual acquaintances, and for some time he was related to the party in which I am a member. On the other hand, I worked for six years in law enforcement, including special forces. And whichever side I take in this case, it will be only half the truth - my own truth.
But there is always a choice to be made. I am attacking good-neighborly, friendly, fellow-soldiers relations with my colleagues, including those in the riot police ... But the state of affairs, the number of crimes of our law enforcement agencies is absolutely insane, prohibitive. I will not sin against the truth if I say that most of the crimes during the day are committed in the buildings of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate, in the offices of operatives, in zones, in pre-trial detention centers, and so on. So much bullying, extortion, rape that the mind goes beyond the mind.
I rationally begin to understand that the emergence of such combat groups, partisan communities is more likely not an exception, but a given in a country called “modern Russia”. Actually, I wrote about this five years ago in my novel.
I understand teenagers who seek (no matter how pompous it may sound) the truth and understand that this truth in a country like Russia cannot be achieved in any way. Any teenager, aggressive, offended, who suddenly, God forbid, beaten his father or brother, and he himself was humiliated - he can go to extreme measures, for social reasons and for political reasons.
In Russia, in fact, everything is conducive to such outbursts of aggression, alienation from the state taking place.
