Igor Manylov, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Economic Development, said on TVC on Friday that the rivermen should not count on a "dacha amnesty". In addition, Mr. Manylov said that the commission found many violations: “One house just stands one meter from another. And in another case, the house is located on the body of the dam, for example. Or some kind of structure that, in fact, prevents the use of the dam as a hydraulic structure.

In connection with these statements, a wave has risen in the media and the blogosphere: 90% of the houses in Rechnik will be demolished not today or tomorrow, because they stand on a dam.

But you should not rush to conclusions. Firstly, no one knows exactly how many houses are on the dam, because the legal status of the dam is no less illusory than that of Rechnik. Now they are trying to urgently register it in accordance with the requirements of the law, but such an operation cannot be done quickly even theoretically. Secondly, the dam story does not fit well with the meaning of earlier court decisions in which no dam is mentioned. And if the land under Rechnik is nevertheless recognized as a hydraulic structure, it will be necessary to sue again.
