| I wanted to write without anger and bias, but it doesn’t work. Because TV not only took up the gun, but gladly rushed to invite on the air a bastard who declared that sick children should be destroyed. So that they don’t get in the way and spoil the view and statistics. This fascist was immediately called to “First” to Malakhov’s “Let Them Talk” and to other channels. For a while he became the hero of the day and was terribly proud of it. Thanks to television and other media. But that's not all. Beloved by all television critics, our most democratic Marianna Maksimovskaya, in one of her “Weeks”, while dealing with the murders of people on ethnic grounds, they also gave the floor to a fascist. And he said everything he thought. Well, of course, we have a democracy, and the Nazis are people too. The minority should also have rights. Then I don't want to be such a democrat. Fascists should not be on TV for advertising purposes, because they are not people. Where fascism begins, democracy ends.
The season was interesting with the rebranding of three channels at once - REN TV, Fifth and Culture. The first two were changed by one media group, but the results were different. The new REN turned out to be strictly structured and clearly aimed at attracting the necessary audience - young men 30+. In the language that is relevant today, the head coach understood well how to build a team game according to the required tactics, and he carried it out. But there is a problem with “Fifth”. It seems that it is unsolvable. The task of gathering a young, intelligent viewer failed completely. Because such a viewer no longer exists on the TV screen. He disappeared quite a long time ago, went to the Internet and never returned. You can’t lure him with any talk about sociality and psychology. He himself has known this for a long time and on a much deeper level. But the majority of people don’t need such “seriousness” for nothing.
The viewer didn’t go the same way, and it’s impossible to harness the “Fifth Wheel” to one cart a second time. Although, in my opinion, in the very idea of creating TV for smart people there is, albeit indirectly, an order from the authorities that control the TV. No, she doesn’t want to step on Gorbachev’s rake again by opening all the floodgates of glasnost, but she understands that with such a sleepy people there will be no modernization. This means that the task is to awaken this population, which is on its own, but within certain boundaries. Don’t get involved in politics, not a word about Hodor, without even the thirty-first who disagree, but about everything else - please. If you want to talk about Petrik’s water, come on, you can even talk about bribe-taking cops and corrupt judges. But no further. Throughout its history, Russia has been hanging out in such a swamp: we tighten the screws, then let them go, then tighten them again. Now this is done through television, replacing all normal democratic procedures in normal countries. However, if the head coach had done as he intended, that is, he would have dragged Maksimovskaya and Osokin to “Fifth” from the REN, and added lawyer Makarov, then a pretty good democratic reservation would have formed here. But it was not possible to gather all the stars in one team, and as a result, “Fifth” turned out to be only an imitation, recyclable material.
In this regard, Andrei Malakhov reminded himself again. He holds his numerous simple-minded spectators like no one else. And due to the game, elements of scandalousness, yellowishness, he can talk (and does!) about very serious things. Then Malakhov has no price.
Now for the good stuff.
Opening of the season. Andrey Makarov (“Justice”, REN). An excellent psychologist, he quietly leads his “heroes” to self-exposure. It is clear that this show is run by a super professional team.
Reincarnation of the season. Svetlana Sorokina (“Program Guide”, St. Petersburg, “Channel Five”). The only success of Alexander Rodnyansky. You turn on the “Program Guide” - and anywhere you find yourself in an atmosphere that only Sorokina can create. Highest craftsmanship!
The best programs of the season. Everything is as before: “Closed Show”, “ProjectorParisHilton”, “Big Difference” (“First”).
The best channels of the season. I’ll be subjective, not the best, but my favorite. “Culture”, “Nostalgia”, “Time”. Everything the doctor ordered. To calm down. If you want to go back to the USSR and you feel uncomfortable in your soul today, there is only one recipe: turn on these channels three times a day after meals. And you will be happy.
