Hundreds of residents of the town of Yakka Gund gathered in the queue for material assistance on this day, where the tragedy occurred. Earlier it was reported about 17 dead and 100 wounded, writes The Nation Pakistani newspaper with reference to AFP. According to the latest data, 104 people who are now undergoing treatment in various hospitals were injured.

The suicide bomber drove up to the administration building on a motorcycle and blew himself up in a crowd of people. “At first it seemed to me that he simply lost his balance and was about to fall, and then the explosion thundered,” the BBC quotes the words of the soldier who guarded the building.

According to the official representative of the Momand Rasul Khan, located in the area of ​​the region, there were several terrorists. They managed to drive two explosive devices. “The first is low power, and the second is very powerful,” he said.

As a result, an office of local leadership, a prison and nearest stores suffered. Several criminals, who were behind bars, managed to run when the walls of the cameras collapsed.

Mokhmand is part of the so -called tribes area, which is located on the border with Afghanistan. Power in it belongs to tribal leaders and elders. It is believed that many militants who previously operated in the ranks of Al-Qaeda and Taliban groups found refuge in the tribe zone. However, at the moment, not a single terrorist organization has taken responsibility for the terrorist attack in Yakka Gunde.
