Zhirinovsky promised to disperse the associates if they support the bill on the ban on rallies of motorists

Vladimir Zhirinovsky, Vice Speaker of the State Duma from the LDPR faction, threatened colleagues in the faction with exceptions to its ranks if someone decides to vote for a bill tightening the requirements for protesting shares using vehicles.

“We do not give a single voice,” Zhirinovsky said at a State Duma meeting on Friday. According to him, the faction has nothing to do with this draft law and, moreover, at its meeting decided to vote against this legislative initiative, Interfax reports.

On the agenda of the State Duma meeting on Friday, in particular, the first reading of amendments to the law "On meetings, rallies, demonstrations, processions and pickets", which regulate the procedure for organizing and conducting public events at transport infrastructure facilities, including using vehicles. This bill tightens the requirements for public events using vehicles: the organizers of the event want to oblige to submit a notification of the upcoming action no later than three working days before the day it is held.

This bill has become a reaction to the growing discontent of society to bureaucratic cars equipped with special signals. It was introduced to the State Duma a month after the Russian Federation of car owners of Russia began an unlimited action, demanding to ban the flashing lights on officials of officials. As part of the action in the capital, auto checks against flashing lights are regularly held in the capital. At first, the authorities tried to fight protests with the help of the police, but now they want to resolve the issue at the legislative level.
