"People's" rating: Abramovich is considered the most successful Russian businessman

Every tenth Russian considers businessman Roman Abramovich the most successful domestic entrepreneur, showed the July survey of the Public Opinion Foundation , conducted in 44 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

The second place in the ranking was taken by the president of the ONEXIM group Mikhail Prokhorov (4%). The following are the heads of Rusnano Anatoly Chubais, Interros Vladimir Potanin, Boris Berezovsky, the head of the Intaco Elena Baturina (2%each).

According to FOM, the vast majority (72%) of respondents found it difficult to name the most successful entrepreneurs of Russia.

Earlier this year, Forbes magazine published a list of 100 richest businessmen of Russia, headed by the chairman of the board of directors of the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant Vladimir Lisin. Mikhail Prokhorov in this list is in second place, Roman Abramovich - in the fourth, Vladimir Potanin - on the seventh, Elena Baturina - on the 27th.

Responding to the request of sociologists to name industries that primarily provide Russia's welfare, 72% of respondents indicated the extractive industry (oil, coal, gas, etc.). It is also considered the most dynamically developing industry of 44% of respondents. This is followed by an electric power (37%), metallurgy (29%), heavy industry (29%), rural and forestry (23%), Finmarket reports.

1% of FOM respondents believe that Russia is not successful entrepreneurs.
