The war group "War" denies its involvement in the action with cockroaches, which was arranged in the Tagansky municipal district court of Moscow on July 12 before the announcement of the verdict to the organizers of the Forbidden Art -2006 exhibition, RIA Novosti said one of the participants in the "War".

Before the announcement of the sentence, thousands of cockroaches were issued to the will of the court, and protocols on the commission of an administrative offense were drawn up for two participants in the action - Pyotr Verzilov and Anastasia Rybachenko - violations of the established rules for holding a court session. They were detained and delivered to the police department of the Tagansky municipal district of the Central Administrative District of Moscow.

There was no “war of the“ war ”in the Tagan court. Most likely, this is the work of the Novosibirsk artist Artem Loskutov nicknamed“ I am adding, ”the agency’s interlocutor said.“ We think that he gave his cockroaches for the “War” campaign in search of additional attention to his person. ”

For his part, Loskutov told RIA Novosti that he was going to take part in the action at the invitation of Verzilov and who specifically stands behind her organization, he did not know.

At the same time, the war member told the agency that Verzilov "was not related to the group."

"He was expelled from the group in November 2008 for handing over to the Kyiv cops of the German artist Alexander Volodarsky, and then also tried to steal his things," he said.

The art group "War" became famous for its radical shares, the most famous of which were arranged in the Timiryazev State Biological Museum in Moscow and on the foundry of St. Petersburg. Participants in the "War" were repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility for their actions.

As for the Tagan court, then, according to the interlocutor of the agency, the “war” arranged several projects there to the so -called “cockroach court”.
