It is worth noting that this year there were four road accidents due to the fault of drunken deputies.
Two of them were committed on the same day , June 8, by the Vice Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the Perm Territory, Evgeny Vyaznikov. A drunk deputy drove his Honda Pilot SUV into oncoming traffic, where he crashed into a bus with 30 passengers. The deputy received multiple injuries and a broken hip, and four passengers on the bus were also injured. Shortly before this, Vyaznikov’s car had another accident, colliding with an Opel Corsa.
A month before this, on May 15, a deputy of the Chelyabinsk region district assembly, Yuri Bobyr, caused an accident while intoxicated . The 54-year-old deputy, ignoring the “give way” sign, flew from the secondary road to the main one, where he crashed into a VAZ-21099. A massive jeep threw the car into a ditch, where it overturned and caught fire. The 26-year-old woman who was driving the 99, despite numerous injuries, managed to get out of the car on her own, which subsequently completely burned out.
