THEATERS
Na Floresta. Choreographer Nacho Duato. Composers E. Vila-Lobos, V. Tiso. Na floresta means "In the Forest" in Portuguese. The unceasing deep and common breath of the real forest (the true world, the true theater) is conveyed by the ensemble with amazing purity. Musical Theater named after Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko , July 16, 19.00.
"Six Dances", "Little Death". Choreographer Jiri Kylian. Composer V.-A. Mozart. Conductor Anton Grishanin. In the first ballet, what happens is reminiscent of the exchange of remarks in a classical French play - the sophistication of vocabulary, the alignment of structures and the feeling that is carefully masked by eloquence - with all the frankness of this eloquence. Kilian's second ballet refers more to Germany than to France. Carefully disheveled ladies in décor, men in underpants; their wigs are powdered so that this same powder, when lightly shaken, rises into the air in a cloud. Jealousy and plans for villainy, ardent love and extreme gallantry - everything is beyond measure, everything is too clown-like. This is a farce, but a farce without a drop of vulgarity... Not a single performance of the past Moscow season will give you such a quantity of positive emotions. Premiere. Musical Theater named after Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko , July 16, 19.00.
