Pogorelians of the Moscow Region will begin to receive compensation from Monday, the Nizhny Novgorod region - from Tuesday

Residents of the Moscow Region, who have lost their houses due to natural fires, will receive new well-maintained houses, and the payment of compensation to the “fireworks” will begin on August 2, Interfax reported on the Ministry of Press and Information of the Moscow Region on Sunday.

At a meeting with the residents of the district, who suffered from natural fires, the Governor of the Moscow Region Boris Gromov said that every family who lost an apartment or house due to a fire will receive well-maintained housing.

According to him, at home, in return for those lost, at the request of the inhabitants, they will be built either in the same place, or in another nearest settlement.

He noted that from the budget of the Moscow region, in addition to funds allocated from the federal budget, each victim will receive 110 thousand rubles. Families in which there are dead from the fire will receive 300 thousand rubles from the regional budget.

"At a meeting with residents, Boris Gromov emphasized that the payment of material compensation from both the regional and federal budgets will begin on Monday - August 2. It will be carried out under the control of social protection authorities," the Ministry of Press and Information of the Moscow Region said.

Monetary compensation to the victims of fires in the Nizhny Novgorod region will be paid from the beginning of the next week, says the head of the region Valery Shantsev.

"Payments for lost property of 100 thousand rubles from the federal and 100 thousand of the regional budget will begin next week, on Tuesday," Chantsev told reporters in Diveeva (Nizhny Novgorod Region) on Sunday.

The head of the region noted that next week an extraordinary meeting of the regional parliament will also be convened, at which appropriate changes to the budget of the region will be made.

According to him, at the moment, 960 Pogoreltsev received 10 thousand rubles of compensation for priority expenses for personal bank accounts.

He described the situation with fires in the field of Shantsev as "stably complex." “On July 29 there was a strong squall wind, which quickly spread the fire to the top,” he explained. In addition, the governor noted that there is a danger of the transfer of flame to the Nizhny Novgorod region from the territory of one of the Mordovian reserves burning at the border of the two regions, in the area of ​​the city of Sarov (there is a federal nuclear center here).

According to the governor, there are currently 18 existing fires in the region, 7 of which are localized.

To combat fire on the night of August 1, 10 outfits of equipment were sent to the “hot spots”, in total, fires of 190 units of equipment and 1.5 thousand people were stewed in the region.

Shantsev noted that extinguishing fires from the sky is currently impossible: in the created conditions, aviation cannot work due to poor visibility.
