In the household of the Karelia administration, a search was carried out

On Friday evening, employees of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs searched the economic department of the administration of the Head of the Republic of Karelia, Interfax was told in the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The search was carried out as part of an investigation of a criminal case related to the demolition of state dachas in Shui Chup. The actions of the police were agreed with the Governor of Karelia Andrei Nelidov.

According to the interlocutor of the agency, during the search in the accounting department and the legal department of the housekeeping administration, investigators and UBEP employees seized documents that could confirm that the property of the republic was destroyed unlawfully.

The criminal case on the fact of arbitrariness was opened in April 2010. It was based on the facts of the unlawful demolition of two summer houses in the village of Shui Chupa.

The houses belonged to the Ministry of Natural Resources of Karelia, were republican property and were controlled by the host of the administration of the head of the republic. In 2008, the houses were demolished, and soon the construction of personal cottages began in their place.
