
The Istanbul court on Friday annulled the arrest warrant of 102 military, including 25 generals who are in the sensational case on the preparation of the coup in 2003, the AFP agency with reference to the Turkish media reports.
The court found that requests to cancel the order submitted by lawyers arrested are justified.
The trial according to the "Swing Plan" Istanbul prosecutor's office began after the publication of a series of scandalous materials in January 2010. In them, in particular, it is argued that the army influenced in Turkey, which has made coups three times since 1960, prepared an explosion plan in the mosques of Istanbul and the introduction of a state of emergency.
The date of the first court hearing was scheduled for December 16. It will take place in the Istanbul prison of Silivri, where another scandalous process takes place - in the case of the neo -establishment of the Ergenecon organization, the defendants of which are accused of preparing the coup at a later time.
In July, the court decided to arrest, in particular, the ex-commander of the first field army, General Chetin Dugan, who is credited with the organization of the conspiracy, ex-heads of the Navy and the Air Force of the Army Admiral Ibrahim Fyrtyn and the Army General Ozden Orneka.
Earlier, Butin Dogan called the decision of the servants of Themis on the arrest of his and other military "legal crime." The investigation of the case of a conspiracy, the existence of which the military reject, exacerbated relations between the Turkish government and the army, RIA Novosti reports.
