Mine collapse in Kuzbass, four people injured

Four people were injured as a result of a partial collapse of the rock in the Capital mine in the city of Osinniki. The accident occurred during work on the analysis of the old waste heap by employees of the Kemerovospetsstroy company.

Coal dust broke out - four specialists of the enterprise received burns of varying severity. An excavator operator, a bulldozer operator, a driver and a worker were hospitalized in the burn department of the Novokuznetsk City Hospital No. 1.

Specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Kemerovo Region, Major General Yevgeny Arutyunyan, left for the scene. Currently, emergency groups and firefighters are working at the scene of the accident. No excess of the maximum permissible concentration of combustion products in the air was detected - no threat to the population was identified.

Specialists began to develop a technical solution to speed up the removal of rock outside the city. The causes of the incident are being established.
