Germany is tired of capitalism

No matter how the situation improves, only a third of the country's population believes that its restoration will lead to an improvement in the quality of life of citizens. The vast majority does not believe in the prospects of the very growth of the economy.

Against this background, intangible values ​​become especially important for citizens, which the current economic system does not pay sufficient attention. 88% of those who answered the questions TNS Emnid believe that Germany does not pay sufficient attention to either environmental protection, nor economical spending of natural resources, or problems of social inequality.

Most of the exit from this situation see a “new economic order” that would be able to combine the growth of the economy with the protection of nature: citizens no longer believe in the survival, resistance and crisis resistance of purely market economic mechanisms.

The study for the Bertelsman Foundation confirms that the "green" postmaterial thinking is characteristic not only of the rather small prosperous and well -fed layer of German society.
