In the Zaporizhzhya region of Ukraine, a monument to Lenin was beheaded

In the village of Balabino, Zaporizhzhya region of Ukraine, unknown hooligans mutilated a monument to Vladimir Lenin. The attackers who spoiled the only monument in the village are looking for a police.

The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Zaporizhzhya region reports that the incident occurred on Thursday evening. The sculpture of the leader of the world proletariat, located on Uritsky Street, lost her head, reports Interfax .

A criminal case has been opened under part 1 of article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism). In the case of the capture of the hooligans, they will find restriction of freedom for up to three years.

Local communists have already stated that they intend to restore the monument.

This is not the first incident associated with the monuments of Lenin in Ukraine. So, on the birthday of the leader on April 22 on Mikhailovskaya Square in Kyiv, the Ukrainian People’s Party held a "trial of communism." Nationalists erected a sculpture of Lenin, which repents, kneeling in front of the monument to the victims of the Holodomor.

And on the night of April 28, in the village of Chernobai, Cherkasy district of Ukraine, unknown vandals doused the monument to Lenin with yellow paint on the central square. In addition, at the pedestal, attackers from all sides painted fascist symbols, five -pointed stars, and under the name of Lenin wrote the word "kat".

Earlier, in February on Volyn, unknown people beheaded a monument to Lenin.

On May 28, 2010, the Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv accepted the case of five activists of the right nationalist organizations that are accused of damage to the monument to Lenin on Bessarabskaya Square. The first hearing is scheduled for June 17.

On June 30, 2009, Nikolai Kokhanivsky, Andrei Tarasenko, Alexander Zorodorozhny, Ivan Sribny and Bogdan Frants repulsed his nose and brush of his left hand at the monument to the Soviet leader Vladimir Lenin on Bessarabskaya Square in Kyiv. In 2008, in Kremenchug, the Poltava region, the vandals beat the head of the monument to Lenin.

There are many such cases of vandalism in Russian cities. So, on April 1, 2009, a monument to the leader of the world proletariat, standing on the armored car near the Finland Station, was blown up . Unknown criminals laid an explosive device in the monument. From the explosion in the posterior lower part of the bronze sculpture, a large torn hole was formed. On April 15, 2010, the monument after restoration work was restored in the same place.

In Kaliningrad in May 2009, unknown people doused a monument to the leader with black paint. On the asphalt, next to the monument with black paint, it was written: “Remember the victims of red terror” - and several contours of human bodies were outlined with white paint.

At the end of April last year, the Lenin monument was doused with black paint in Tatarstan. The monument is erected at the main building of Kazan State University, where Lenin studied. In early April 2009, the Cossack Chub put on the bronze figure of the leader of the revolution in Volgograd.

At the end of March last year, in black paint, a rock portrait of Lenin at the Stavropol Territory was painted with black paint. A fascist cross was drawn on Lenin’s forehead, and anti -Semitic inscriptions were applied next to the image. In the Oryol region in February of the same year, the monument to Lenin was shot from a gun.
