American Forbes has published its traditional Forbes 400 ranking - a list of the richest people in the United States. After the recession of recent years, the capital of the richest Americans began to slowly recover: only billionaires remained in the ranking, and their total wealth increased by 8% to $1.37 trillion.

The first two places once again went to Bill Gates and Warren Buffett . Forbes estimated the fortune of the Microsoft founder at $54 billion, and the owner of Berkshire Hathaway at $45 billion. Just like a year ago, the top ten includes four owners of the Wal-Mart empire from the Walton family - Christie (No. 4, $24 billion), Jim (No. 7, $20.1 billion), Alice (No. 8, $20 billion) and Robson (No. 9, $19.7 billion). Over the year, the retailer's shares practically did not grow, but the family received good dividends.

Two more places in the top ten went to the owners of Koch Industries - the brothers Charles (No. 5, $21.5 billion) and David (No. 6, $21.5 billion) Koch. The current mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg, rounds out the top 10 richest people in the United States. The magazine estimated the fortune of the likely candidate for the next president of the country at $18 billion.
