
Investigators establish the identity of five men discovered after pumping water at the Razdadskaya mine in the Kemerovo region, the SPP RF website reports on Saturday.
"Today, during the restoration work at the Razdadskaya mine in the Kemerovo region, in the region of 5 block 7 of the layer 17 of the site, the bodies of 5 men were found by workers after pumping water. Currently, one of the discovered bodies of the dead has already been raised to the surface," the site says.
Earlier it was reported about 72 miners who died at the "Department of Poles". Thus, the number of victims of the accident reached 73.
According to the report, in the framework of the criminal investigation, investigators and forensics of the Investigative Committee carry out the necessary investigative actions aimed at establishing the personality of the dead.
On the night of May 9, 2010, a double explosion occurred at Disoladdskoy, as a result of which 68 people were killed. 23 were still listed as missing. 142 people turned to medical help. On August 18, the Razdadsky Coal Company CJSC began pumping water from the flooded sections of the mine.
