Passenger train got off the rails - 40 wounded

The passenger train got off the rails on the border of Norway and Sweden, 40 people were injured, the AP agency reports on Saturday with reference to the Stockholm police.

The accident occurred in the area of ​​the Norwegian village of Scotterud on Friday evening. The first two wagons behind the locomotive went off the rails and turned upside down. Two passengers received serious injuries, not representing a thunderstorm of life, said Police officer Thron Salen.

According to him, there were about 300 people on the train. The police have not yet established the cause of the accident, presumably, it occurred due to a breakdown of the wheel of the first car, RIA Novosti reports.
