A bear injured two people at a Japanese school

A wild bear slightly injured two people at a school in the Japanese prefecture of Yamagata, RIA Novosti reports. The beast bit the peasant, and then stumbled upon the janitor at the entrance to the building. The man tried to run away and hide in the school, but the animal smashed the glass door with a paw. The bear was locked up at the school and then shot by local hunters.

The incident happened early Thursday morning, so none of the children were hurt.

The growth of the animal was 1.3 meters, it was a male Himalayan bear. Animals come to the city in search of food, because due to the hot summer there are almost no acorns left in the forests.

Recall that on Monday, a resident of Mishima managed to catch a monkey, which is believed to have attacked 118 people in Mishima and neighboring settlements since August 22.
