Muscovite strangled her two-month-old granddaughter

A criminal case has been initiated against a resident of Moscow under the article “Murder”, RIA Novosti reports. Valentina Khrapova is suspected of murdering her two-month-old granddaughter. The investigation found that on Wednesday morning Khrapova, while intoxicated, beat and then strangled her two-month-old granddaughter. She threw her corpse into the garbage chute, located on the landing of the 16th floor near her own apartment on Warsaw highway.

Khrapova was arrested. The investigation establishes the circumstances of the crime. The issue of choosing a measure of restraint is being decided.
