During a rally of the opposition, three activists were detained in the center of Moscow

Three activists of the Left Front movement were detained by the police on Saturday in Moscow on Pushkinskaya Square, where the opposition rally is held, Sergey Udaltsov told Interfax Left Front.

He said that his associates did not violate the law, they handed out leaflets with a proposal to come to a rally called "Day of anger", which the opposition planned to be held near the Moscow City Hall on November 12.

"They simply handed out leaflets. What extremism is it? However, the police said that there are signs of extremism in their actions. Three of our activists were detained and taken to a police bus," Udaltsov said.

“We consider the actions of the police illegal and demand their release,” the opposition said. Interfax has not yet have a commentary on law enforcement agencies.
