From the editorial office. The history of Russia testifies that on October 17, 1905, Tsar Nicholas II issued the highest manifesto on the improvement of state order, better known as the "October Manifesto". This document granted the residents of the Russian Empire civil and political freedoms. A little more than 105 years later, another October Manifesto was published in Russia. It was no longer the king was the author, but the director and playing Tsar Alexander III actor Nikita Sergeyevich Mikhalkov. In his manifesto, officially bearing the name “Law and Truth. The manifesto of enlightened conservatism ”, Nikita Sergeyevich not only described his vision of the causes of problems that are now relevant for Russia, but also proposed methods of their solutions, bringing the ideological basis under them. The Russian Journal could not leave this unattended and for a commentary to journalist Leonid at Radzikhovsky .

Mikhalkov’s film “Tired by the Sun-2” failed; Really great failure about the Great War. The defeat is worse than in 1941. But I don’t want to leave. Who would like to go to peace at 65 years old and from the position of Mikhalkov? It remains to fight back an ideological cruttle, maybe you will beat off a little. Mikhalkov argues this way: yes, my films, of course, no one watches, but they are ideologically sustained. As mentioned earlier, an excellent student of combat and political training. The work is bad with combat training, but the ideological is such that it will replace the combat. The veteran fights to the end.
The manifesto “Law and Truth” must, according to the plan, meet the interests of the conservative public. But who are these conservatives? Those who believe that the more you steal, the stronger the country? We have such a tradition, it is true, we fasten it as we can. But the liberals attached her and her, in this sense, the conservatives are no different from them. Conservatives - those who shout that “America is a parash, will be ours”? So Mikhalkov shot some films specifically in English, and then translated into Russian. But after the Yankees did not appreciate this feat, of course, he once again understood what scoundrels they were. I checked their meanness, so to speak, from my own experience.
Again, they surrounded the Cannes. Rusophobia reaches a clinical degree, they did not give a single prize. This is almost the genocide of the Russian people. So his desire to defend the Fatherland from the adversaries is quite clear to me, and for other domestic conservative thinkers, it is about the same . The fact is that Russian conservatives are primarily characterized by the fact that they are mothballed within the country, no one knows them in the world. In the West, no one in life has ever heard of the existence of writers such as Prokhanov, such political scientists as Kurginyan, geopolitics as Dugin. And it is clear that this is explained by the universal hatred of the world to everything Russian. And as you are with us and you and I, you do not know us, and we do not know you. If you do not want to translate our books and buy our pants, then we get used to it and will read our books ourselves and wear our pants.
It is clear that Mikhalkov considers serfdom the only alternative to liberal modernization - pursuit of the West - Mikhalkov. He would be happy to return, if not in the 19th century, then at least at a time when he was 30 years old, 40 less. It was good then what to say, now it has become worse. And serfdom and class society are generally a wonderful thing, only for some reason the landowners like it: serfs on this score, scoundrels, have a different opinion. And the trouble is that it was the serfs that began to listen. If they closed their mittens, it would be good again, the landowners are good, serfs - and what is serf? They live, they chew bread, watch the film “Citadel” or “Burnt by the Sun”. Yes, the class society is a wonderful thing, but the lower classes, which, as a rule, have a different opinion on this subject, you can plug the mouth, and then they will not arise.
And, in principle, the “manifesto” of Nikita Sergeyevich was late for exactly 12 years. In 2000, he said the same thing, only Manifesto did not write, he even starred in the role of Alexander III. Then it seemed to be something fresh, new, because then this liberal modernization, liberalism, cosmopolitanism, mundialism, well, in a word, cursed the 1990s really got everyone. But since then, glory to you Lord, 12 years have passed.
What kind of liberals are he fighting today? What does liberal modernization have to do with it? She has long ended. That is, I do not admit the thought that the Stolbovaya nobleman of the Russian land intends to argue with the President of Russia, who speaks of modernization, this cannot be . Therefore, this is not directed against Medvedev. I also do not admit the thought that the greatest patriot of Russia argues with Putin, who wants to sell shares of state -owned companies in the market, that is, to continue economic liberalization. Thoughts I do not admit that Nikita Sergeyevich is against this.
And if he is not against this, then, in fact, what is he against? We have no other liberalism. You can, of course, ritually once again curse liberals, but with the same success you can curse, for example, Trotskyists.
