The Communists of Kyiv hold on Independence Square a rally prohibited by the court

On Independence Square in Kyiv on Sunday day, a rally of supporters of the Communist Party of Ukraine on the occasion of the anniversary of the October Revolution, banned by the court, takes place.

According to Interfax agency in the metropolitan head of the police, more than 2 thousand supporters of the Communist Party are held in the center of Kiev. The rule of law is provided by about 500 law enforcement officials.

The promotion is peacefully. Ideological opponents of the Communists are not observed in Independence Square. As reported, supporters of the Communist Party on Sunday laid flowers to the monument to Lenin in the center of Kyiv.

The metropolitan head of the police reported that administrative protocols will be drawn up against the organizers of the action - for violation of the rules of mass shares.

As reported, the District Administrative Court of Kyiv banned mass shares on November 6 and 7 on Independence Square. The court issued such a decision on the appeal of the Kyiv city state administration (Kyiv City State Administration).

Earlier, the Communist Party submitted an application for shares in the center of Kyiv on November 7 - on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the October Revolution. The All-Ukrainian Association "Freedom" planned on Sunday to hold an action on the Independence Square in memory of the victims of the Moscow-Bolshevik regime.
