Not only me, but many others, much more insightful and legally educated people did not hear for a year and a half of the trial evidence of crimes imputed by Khodorkovsky and Lebedev. What can not be said about the evidence of the innocence of the defendants, who in the criminal case are so quantity and who are “made” in court in court to such a state of digestibility that even the most stupid and biased should be understood: Khodorkovsky and Lebedev are innocent. But no, prosecutors pretend that they do not know, do not understand, do not see, do not hear, demanding to add another 14 years.
It is interesting which hemisphere of the brain (or other part of the body) they came up with the idea of ​​accusing Khodorkovsky and Lebedev of embezzlement from his own company with all oils obtained from 1998 to 2003. How did they assume these fantasies to prove? What did they see Khodorkovsky’s self -interest with Lebedev, what is the point - did you see at home? Well, Khodorkovsky and Lebedev do not suffer from dementia and economic illiteracy. And they are not financial perverts. They are modern capitalists who sought to make a profit and create worthy working conditions and lives of people working in the company, and not rattles, existing, existing one day, as the current rushing elite. The prosecutors initially set themselves a legally unexplored problem: the Achinea is not proved by definition. It is impossible to discuss nonsense in their right mind and firm memory, and they tried to grind, falsifying, not talking, concealed, imposing it on the court and the public as the truth in the last instance.
The conversations that Danilkin must commit a feat, having passed an acquittal, are presented in this position of things by excessive heroization of the work of a judge, the principle of which is a support on the law, and the only adviser when pronouncing a sentence is a conscience. Everything else is from the evil one - even from Putin, even from Medvedev. And in the case of a conviction, you can’t blame the personal meanness or cowardice in the case of the conviction: the pen, which displays the signature under it, is not Putin or Medvedev will move, but Judge Danilkin. The gun to his forehead, I am sure, will not be assigned, except that the phone will rattle. Bullets, thank God, do not fly out of the phones. Orders, requirements, exhortations will surely strain mobile or wired communication. But after all, only the insinuating voices of the bosses, and not the guttural cry of the groom of the Putin's favorite, will be heard to the hearing. Yes, if Putin himself decided to call, playing with nodules on the other end of the wire, which all this matters to a professional and honest person. After all, “telephone law” in this case for a real judge is just inconvenience in comparison with the duty and historical success to show the world impartiality and the best human qualities. Rarely, fate smiles so much as she smiled at Judge Danilkin. You can only envy.
I quite admit, however, that for Danilkin - the average Russian inhabitant - the fallen lot is burdensome to extreme. He may be more comfortable to remain a gear of a state machine that makes his tiny turnover, and not think that the same millions of gears, scrolling, set in motion a corruption-repressive mechanism that grinds a lot of living in the country. Most likely, to him, who has a wife, two children, a good nonsense work, a stable earnings, the arguments of some people about the fate of Russia, which is now allegedly in his modest hands, seem too exalted.
But it is one thing when you quietly rotate among many gears, another - when your own stroke of the pen is crippling life innocent. And you do it publicly, under the gaze of thousands of understanding and sympathizing with the innocent eye. And for them, carefully and with the hope of looking, it does not matter-the creator are you a story or not, you perform someone’s will or do not fulfill, for them it is important-you are a decent person or a bastard. They are also absolutely indifferent-whether you, Prime Minister or Judge. They are only interested in truth and justice.
Of course, the corruption-repressive mechanism grinds today, thank God, until millions, as once, but thousands, that some defenders of the regime are possible that Danilkin seems quite tolerant. But what is the matter of this difference of numbers, for example, to the relatives and friends of Anna Politkovskaya, Natalia Estemirova, Yuri Chervochkin, Sergey Mokhnatkin, Oleg Kashin and many, many others? Wose would be less if their names were in the list of millions of victims, not thousands? And what is the case with elderly parents, wives growing without fathers to the children and grandchildren of Khodorkovsky and Lebedev to the feelings that Mr. Putin experiences for the famous sidelts? He, Mr. Putin, is not the Lord God to seriously take into account his blessing or disgrace. He is just a simple mortal who seems to wear a cross on his chest.
At the junction of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, the “Dreyfus case” shook France and swept an alarming echo around the world. In France there was a brave man who could shout: "I accuse." And the French, including thanks to this scream, shook off indifference, not letting the nation in the blood of the innocent. Today we also have the opportunity to become a little better, demanding an acquittal and not accepting the indictment for Khodorkovsky and Lebedev. It is time for Russian society to stop perceiving the murder as a norm and decisively abandon the invitation to execution.
As for Danilkin, he will be given an earthly assessment after December 15, and, unfortunately, we will never know about God. But finally we will understand, there is a cross on Putin or it is not on it ... and on Medvedev too.
