The special issue of the newspaper, dedicated to the brutally beaten reporter of Kommersant Oleg Kashin, was released on Saturday in Moscow. The number came out of a circulation of 10 thousand copies, it will spread for free. The eight-lane newspaper was prepared by colleagues Kashin from print media, from Internet publications and radio.

The publication talks in detail about the incident, sets out the versions of what happened, comments and opinions, as well as the wishes of friends of the Kommersant correspondent. On two pages, lists of journalists in Russia have been published over the past ten years in Russia. “Over the past 10 years, more than 200 journalists have died and missed in Russia. Hundreds have been attacked and cruel beatings,” the newspaper writes.

The attack on Kashin was committed on the night of November 6. Two unknown people have been pakeing him near the house in the center of Moscow. Kashin received an open head injury, a facial skeleton and fractures of the lower extremities. In serious condition, Kashin was taken to the intensive care unit of the 36th city hospital, where he is still. The investigation and colleagues Kashin believe that the attack is related to the professional activities of a journalist who specializes in socio-political topics.

The attack on the journalist caused a huge public outcry.
