“Artists of Russian Abroad. Marianna Verevkina. 1860--1938" . The name of the Russian-Swiss artist Marianne (Mariamne) Vladimirovna Verevkina, an associate of the world famous masters of the European avant-garde A. Jawlensky and V. Kandinsky, is well known in the West. Her unique style, which arose at the crossroads of Russian, German and French culture, combined the experience of symbolism, fauvism, expressionism, and cloisonnism. The exhibition, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the artist’s birth, will for the first time widely present the legacy of M. Verevkina in Russia. "Prigov: assemblage point." The exhibition invites contemporary artists to speak on topics that are fundamental to the work of the famous poet and artist. The space outlined by Prigov’s problematics opens up endless variations: the relationship between words and images, the principle of play as a strategy and a method for creating a work of art. Prigov's creativity is closely connected with the phenomenon of the artist's behavior, with his immersion in immediate reality. The exhibition presents not only artists of Prigov’s generation, but also a younger generation, as well as new figures of modern culture who have already loudly declared their presence on the international art scene. “Russian historical portrait. Engraving from the 18th century." The collection of prints of the Historical Museum, which included the famous collections of A.P. at the beginning of the 20th century.
